The first discussion of a method of identifying Contax I camera variants based on research of John Dornfield and Stan Bishop. This method concentrates on the observation of the different front bezels of these six models (a seventh is not available to be documented) based on drawings of the different bezels from a frontal and top down view. It is accompanied by a table of different characteristics from models 1 through 7.
