The Rolls Royce of Twin Lens Reflex cameras came to market just as the German government was commandeering almost all of the manufacturing space within the country’s industries. Therefore few were made and sold as the war would switch into high gear in that year (1939). The cover shows the picture of this camera compared to the high end postwar version and the comparison shows the superior design and features of the pre-war product. However, the bomb damage took all of the means to resume away from Zeiss Ikon and this high end and complex design would not reappear.
