An observers overview of the Jena Contax camera which was reverse engineered under contract from the Russian military force to be manufactured in the USSR. However, the astute Germans kept a secret copy of the newly drawn technical drawings and manufactured the camera using the Zeiss Ikon trademark from 1947 – 1950.
