The Contax IV Prototype

Published in Autumn 2002 Zeiss Historica Journal

Authors: Peter Hennig; Milos Paul Mladek

See Page 2 – 6.

The discovery of certain important parts of a late 1930’s prototype is shown to be three different stages of a camera that would have been the Contax IV had there been no German industrial sequester in 1938 and the steps to World War II taken. Well illustrated and evaluated by the authors.
