The author describes and illustrates his project of restoring a Zeiss Ikon Miroflex focal plane camera from the late 1920’s – mid 1930’s. He discusses the design of the shutter by Dr. Nagel from its days at Contessa Nettel and the replacement of the shutter cloth and tapes. The article includes three large illustrations.
